Get Cut, Get Toned – Even Away From Home
After using the Bodylastics system for a while now, I’m completely satisfied with the kind of workout I’m getting without even going to the gym. It trains the entire body, working out all the key muscle groups: back, abs, arms, legs, and chest. Its great for pumping the cardio and doing crosstraining. It offers a wide range of resistance, so you can go for tone or you can go for bulk. But I’d say this system is really great for getting cut and toning your physique or just keeping in shape while on the road. You can customize your workout depending on your needs and you can customize it for a man’s workout or a woman’s workout.

It Paid For Itself in 2 Months
All in all, I’d say this was the best investment I’ve made in a long while. When I finally (guilt-free) cancelled my gym membership – the Bodylastics paid for themselves in less than a month and a half! This is the best single piece of gym equipment I’ve purchased, and trust me, I’ve bought (and then sold) them all. This is great for someone who doesn’t want to invest into tons of equipment (a Bowflex or a Crossbow, for example), great for someone who’s on the go, or who doesn’t have a lot of space for bulky home gyms. I highly recommend the Bodylastics system.

The Best Things Come In Tiny Packages
When the kit came in the mail, I knew the Bodylastics System was going to be portable, but it really didn’t take up any room at all. It weighed nothing, under 2 pounds for sure, and all fit into 1 tiny bag – easy to throw under my bed or in with my luggage.

The Bodylastic Breakdown
Its basically 5 small elastic tubes, each a different color, each for a different tension – almost like different dumb bell weights. There are two handles that you attach to the ends of the tubes, two ankle straps, and a door anchor (for attaching to a doorframe). There was also a manual and a DVD (the DVD really walks you through all the different exercises you can do). The other thing to note is that this equipment is quality – my friend warned me to stay away from the cheap-o’s they sell at the fitness stores and I could definitely tell the difference.

A Totally Different Way To Work Out
So I thought I’d give them a go. I went through all the exercises in the book – the full body workout. At first, it felt a little strange and took a little getting used to. The thing is, the bands change resistance as you use them – they get tighter as they stretch, so its almost like lifting a free weight that’s getting heavier as you lift it. This is totally different than any kind of lifting I have ever done and it just felt a little different.

The Skinny
Main thing was – With Bodylastics, I just gave myself a total body workout, in my home, with a tiny, light piece of equipment, and without going to the gym – I was sold.

The Curse of the Monthly Membership
Lets talk about “Gym Guilt” for a second here. I’ve had my membership – and I don’t want to tell you how much I was paying a month, let’s just say it was somewhere between “an arm” and “a leg” – for over two years now and I just hadn’t [...]

The Curse of the Monthly Membership
Lets talk about “Gym Guilt” for a second here. I’ve had my membership – and I don’t want to tell you how much I was paying a month, let’s just say it was somewhere between “an arm” and “a leg” – for over two years now and I just hadn’t been getting to the gym the way I used to. Things have gotten really busy for me and I’ve been traveling a lot for work and that mean I wasn’t getting into the gym more than once a month. What a colossal waste of money… But the thing was, my membership became a symbol for my commitment to my body, I didn’t want to cancel that membership no matter how little I used it because it would symbolize something much greater – that I had given up on fitness.

The “Gym Guilt” Cure
So, I needed to find something else – I needed something that I could do at home when I had a spare minute, something that didn’t cost an a million dollars (like a home gym or a Bowflex), and if it was something I could take on the road – even better. A friend of mine suggested the Bodylastics Home Gym system. I’m naturally very skeptical of any fitness gadget – they always seem to end up down in the basement, at the back of my closet, or out at the garage sale. I didn’t want yet another addition to the Gym Equipment Graveyard.

I Made the Investment
Yet, with the cost of Bodylastics being so low, the promise of a full body workout while on the road, and the 100% money-back guarantee – I just had to give it a shot. I ordered the Max Tension System with the DVD and paid for overnight shipping (I hate waiting).
